Surprise! Today we release a new solo record by Todd Tobias, his first one since 2018’s Massabu Evening Entertainments. It’s called First Man on the Rock and it’s a collection of brief, brash rock semi-instrumentals.

This new album by Ohio-based producer/musician Tobias (known for his work with Guided By Voices, Robert Pollard and Circus Devils) celebrates the primitive and the post-civilized; here joining forces to stir the souls and bones of the modern listener.
