And here’s yet another awesome video and beautiful song from the new Jake Nicoll record Saturn Returns – out August 1st!

On Saturn and the other gas giant planets there are substances under so much pressure that they no longer act like liquid or gas, but instead become supercritical fluid. Even here, deep in the Earth we find water in this state, eventually billowing out from hydrothermal vents.

Maybe this fleshy human substance we call Society has reached this point. Clamped in the impossible pressures of late-stage capitalism, every day facing potential world annihilation -perhaps in these conditions we will discover a new state of being.

Tiny Room Records 10 Year Anniversary Party & Foundlings release

This Friday, we’re celebrating 10 years of Tiny Room Records! The event will take place in Studio Patrick in Utrecht. Woohoo!

We’re bringing the special 2xLP Foundlings release, they look and sound BEAUTIFUL. Crowdfunders can join the party and pick up their copy. I’m sure we’re gonna have a good time together!

There are three acts playing, Coaster from Utrecht, Master Solo from the UK (first show in 9 years or so?!) and newest signing Herrek. Doors at 8PM, no need to buy a ticket beforehand. All donations during the evening are more than welcome. Hope to see you there!

Winsummerfest

Winsummerfest was the best! Thanks so much for having us over. We had a blast! The afternoon in the synagogue with Herrek, LUIK, Kristóf Hajós and Coaster was really lovely. It was also nice to see Coaster playing the big stage (with big sound) on Friday evening. And wh^rl and Boeije dropped more Tiny Room goodness on Saturday evening. Seeing Space Siren and Howrah is always great, as was meeting up with so many friends and music acquaintances. Big ups for this festival! ❤️

Tiny Room at Winsummerfest

Tomorrow, we’re hosting our own stage at the awesome Winsummerfest!
The Tiny Room fellowship — this weekend consisting of Herrek, LUIK, Kristóf Hajós, Coaster, wh^rl, and Boeije — is heading up north to Winsum.
The first four acts will perform in the synagogue under the Tiny Room banner on Saturday afternoon, from 1 to 6 PM.

In defiance of the short life span that releases have nowadays, Microwolf commissioned abstract visual artist Robert Muis to make a new video for a track of his 2023 release ‘Changelings’. The epic 9 minute track ‘Papavers’ is now accompanied by a fittingly psychedelic and hypnotic visual journey. Go check out the whole video below!

The first single & video from Jake Nicoll’s new album Saturn Returns is out now! It’s called Free Space and the synthy earworm has a cool animated video by Shan Pomeroy.

Jake Nicoll says about the song: “Free Space came to me when I was living in a basement in Cambridge UK. Walking through the tiny tourist packed ​streets I looked out at a world increasingly owned by technocrats and cheesy billionaires. Our crowded little online lives are flooded with trash, pushing hard drives and bandwidths to their limits. Where is one to go?”

New video and pre-order for Todd Tobias’ Blue Mansions CD release

We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of Blue Mansions, the sumptuous new album from Todd Tobias. The album mines an immersive, ethereal and otherworldly vein. Tobias describes Blue Mansions as “a collection of 14 aeriform vignettes – each a sleepy, wistful and brief visit to a welcoming space that feels both warm and remote.”

LUIK‘s Lukas Dikker made a video for the song ‘kheaz’ of his most recent album Outrar. These three giants are located along the Breeweg, Rotterdam and provide shade and shelter to his family’s favorite playground Odilia.
