Thank you Le Mini Who? and all you lovely people coming out to see Lost Bear doing the Rock and eating garlic. They had a great time pretending they’re the biggest rock band in the Netherlands. Watch a video of two songs (shot by Joost Hangfield) here:

Not So Solo released
The release of Master Solo’s Not So Solo last weekend in Theater Kikker (where The Fire Harvest and Black Oak also presented their new albums) was magical. Thank you all for coming to this very special show. A big thank you to Mark as well, for breathing new life into this awesome project one final time. Read a review (in Dutch) on 3voor12/Utrecht here. Video up now too:
This Leo Sunrise – Release Show Aftermovie

Groningen adventures
Over and out. We had so much fun at Tiny Shark Art Attack (in collaboration with the lovely people from Sharksomeness Bookings and Vera Groningen ArtDivision) during Eurosonic. Thank you all for coming, dear friends. And thanks to all the bands for playing their beautiful songs. We are proud, satisfied and exhausted. So much fun to celebrate great music with all you beautiful people. And very much looking forward to next year!

Florian von Besser took some amazing photos of our little gathering! Click here to see ’em all.
Louder Than War wrote about Lost Bear: “[…] whose new tracks sounded like a fabulously “emo” mix of Diamond Dogs-era Bowie, a proggy Small Faces and Do The Collapse-era Guided By Voices. To wit; a soulful and clever rock band with enough self depreciation to keep any stadium nonsense at bay. They rocked out in the basement of the famous old Vera club, the chiming chords and brilliant harmonies bouncing off the low ceiling and the sleepy audience (it was just 2pm after all) nodding along, shaking the loose wax out of their ears.”
3voor12/Groningen also wrote a niece piece in Dutch about the programme on Thursday. […] Op sommige momenten speelt This Leo Sunrise snoeihard, even later is het zo stil dat je de kruk van drummer Chris Müller kunt horen kraken. De afwisseling zorgt voor een aangenaam en uitgebalanceerd optreden. Kortom: deze formatie uit het midden van het land staat als een huis.”
Tiny Shark Art Attack
We are so excited to be hosting this showcase in Groningen on the 13th and 14th of January! Two afternoons and two rooms full of nice music, art and people. We decided to team up with our friends Sharksomeness Bookings and VERA ArtDivision to give you a fulfilling & endearing experience. Come on over, say hi, and enjoy the art & music!
So, what will happen these two days?
The ArtDivision will show you how they make their famous silk screen printed posters by live-printing posters of some of the bands that are playing Vera during Eurosonic Noorderslag. This and other of their artworks will be for sale as well.
Besides that, we at Tiny Room Records and our friends from Sharksomeness Bookings invited some of our bands to play Downstage. On Wednesday you’ll get time to warm up and start slowly, with beautiful tunes of The World of Dust, Dotlights and Joost Dijkema. On Thursday it gets a little louder with Lost Bear, LGHTNNG, This Leo Sunrise and The Daydream Fit. Besides that, Homemade Empire will accompany the printing team upstairs with some of his beautiful songs.

Do Not Always See release show
The official release show for This Leo Sunrise’s new album Do Not Always See took place on 20 December 2015, in our second home De Vechtclub XL (Utrecht). We had a BLAST. After a special, eerie synth-only set by our own The World of Dust, a dreamy relaxing show by Boyle, and an intense noise experience by Danielle Liebeskind, This Leo Sunrise took over the stage and the hearts of the audience. An awesome year culminated in a perfect show and a perfect evening. Thanks to you for coming, and to 3voor12/Utrecht for writing this great piece – it really made us blush.
Release party!
This Sunday the official release party for This Leo Sunrise’s new album Do Not Always See will take place in De Vechtclub XL, Utrecht. Quinten Swagerman (who also made the artwork for the album) will provide visuals during the show. Dreampop folkies Boyle are playing too, and so is Danielle Liebeskind (spoken word / noise / weird stuff from Barreuh Records). The World of Dust prepared a special synthesizer-only show for this occasion. So, a great (and big) line-up, for only 5 euros. Viva la Underground!
Thank you!
